A lovely expression of love, using the sun's warmth and the light of both sun and moon to compare to that which your love brings you.
The image of the sun rising on a new day is a good choice for this poem. Good luck in the contest.

The world needs sunshine to live. We need people who are sunshines to us to keep
us growing and contribute our services back to our community.
I like this sentence, " A message that I'm yours and you are mine." to me, it show the bond between the sunshine and us.

I like your use of colors throughout the poem and couldn't pick a specific favorite line as I liked them all.
