Oh, honey. I'm so sorry to hear that you are going through that, but than goodness that Hubby and Son pushed the issue and got you to the hospital.
I'm glad to hear that you're home and I hope you get the rest you need and feel better very soon!

Hi Chris, it was rather a nightmare, one that I'm so pleased I survived. My son and hubby had reached the point if we couldn't talk to a doctor, or get any other sort of help, they'd take me themselves. Which, thankfully, they did. I know I've still got to have home care, and I have to take it carefully, but it's so nice to be home. Thank you, my dear friend. I appreciated your kind thoughts. Love and hugs. Sandra xx

Sandra, I cannot tell you how happy I am that you are home. And that your loving hubby and son forced your hand! We tend to minimalize our health issues because we, being moms, had to for such a long time. But I'm glad Graham and Chris saw through your brave front and took care of you.
We are grateful for you, sweet friend. You have made each of us feel special at different times. You've lifted our spirits with your tales, reviews, and prayers. Never think you are 'less'. You are one of the top notches. :)
Blessings and long-distance hugs,
Deb

PS - I make personalized greeting cards. I'd love to send you a get-well card but I need your address. If you're not comfortable with that (because I'm really an axe-murdering serial killer in disguise!) no worries at all. :) Know you are a special lady and we love you!

Hi Debs, I've sent you a pm.
Graham and Chris know me too well, I'm afraid. Lol. But in this case, I'm so glad they do. Thank you for those kind and caring words, my friend, I've discovered just how many friends I have on here, you're all wonderful. Love you lots, Sandra xxx

Oh, Sandra!
How dreadful!
I wish I were there to visit, not that I could get across the pond to actually do that... but I'm sending you my biggest hugs! My thoughts are with you along with my prayers.
Don't worry about us, we can wait... take good care of yourself first... what would we do if you didn't, and your story was stopped mid-stream? The horrors!!! (I'm not even going to go into the rest of it.)
So, take care of yourself, Sandra. We can wait for the story. Plenty of vitamins, take your meds, and don't forget a hot toddy or 2 just for good measure! ;)
Susan :) XOXO

Hi Susan, it was awful. But I'm home, alive and grateful to my family and the doctors. I'm being looked after here at home now, and not allowed to do much, not that I can anyway. Aw, wouldn't it be nice to have a visit? I'll take the hugs, though, thank you.

Thank you for your prayers, I know they helped. Love and hugs, my friend. Sandra xx

Oh, so glad you're home. We were all so worried. Thank goodness, they took you to the hospital. Don't worry about posting. We'll all be here when you feel like it again. Take care of yourself, dear SATP!!!!!!!

Aw, my dear SATP, thank you. I'm glad they ignored me and took me to the hospital, lol. I can be stubborn, but with the state of our health service at the moment, and the strikes going on, I didn't want to take someone else's place who might be a more urgent case. We live and learn. Look forward to a chat once I'm really up to it. Love you lots, dear sister. Sandra xxx

I had a bit of help from my hubby. He is now watching me like a hawk. 😟 I know I mustn't do to much, and I won't. I want to recover fully, and as soon as I can. I don't know what would have happened had Graham and Chris not insisted they take me to the walk-in-unit at the hospital. I wanted to let you all know what had been wrong with me, and to warn you all not to be silly like I was. If you feel bad, get it sorted. Thank you, my dear friend. You've been wonderful. Love and hugs, Sandra xxx

I am so sorry to hear that you had to go through all this trauma to get any medical attention Sandra. Phoning III to get triaged and put in a queue as to who needs the most attention means that some people die as a result. I am glad that those around you managed to get you the help you needed and I hope you are now on the mend. Being back in your own bed will help you recover! Hospitals are cold uncaring places, I wish you all the very best Sandra, take care we are all thinking about you in our prayers, love Dolly x

Thank you, Dolly. It has given me some idea of what it going on inside the hospital. Once I was in, they couldn't have been kinder, or more caring. Thank you for your prayers, my friend, I'm sure they help a lot. Love and hugs, Sandra xxx

Sandra.
I've been away from FS for six years after losing my enthusiasm for writing (6 yrs was longer than I anticipated). Before I left I remember reading your work religiously. My favorite post was your poem about the boy chimney sweep! Sad ending but a great story.
I've been back a little over one month now. I'm saddened to hear and read about your health issues. Please listen to your family. They know (as mine do). We're just stubborn ol' coggers!

Be well my friend.
John

How nice to see you on FS again, John! And what an incredible memory you have to have remembered my Chimney Sweep Boy. I'll enjoy reading your work again. Six years?!! Goodness me! How the time has flown.

Thank you for your kind comments, it did take an awful lot out of me. But, I'm recovering, and that is good news for me. I can say with all honesty, I hate growing old! Nice to have you back, my friend. Warm hugs, Sandra xx

Well, now, you didn't have a very good week, did you? Three cheers for Graham and Chris. And three more for you--fighting your way back.
Hey, what's another week or two for time travelers? Just a wink between ice ages.

Get better, Sandra.

Peace, Lee
