This sound of crisis will draw the reader in. : "The Cherry's not on it, Boss." Tom's voice sounded hollow over the phone." this is fun. I actually put most of my friends in my books. Tor had the most. but they were beheaded...ooof: " Looks like Karen brought in a couple of her own heavy hitters." "Oh no, not . . . Lyenochka and Karenina?" And Jessizero as the driver...this is great.

I love it! I've been looking for these entries and have only found one previously (stiff competition). But this is equally hilarious and had me laughing all the way through. Love all the names especially The Cherry and the three Ds. The plot is great allowing for the shambolic 'planning' of this assassination and, frankly, this could easily be made into a book for me. It was such fun. Well done to the mystery writer and good luck! Debbie

Thank you, Debbie. I really enjoyed killing Karen, and everyone else.

This is a creative, adventurous, and humorous story, and Karen still didn't die. I most enjoyed reading a story that included FanStory writers as characters. The three Ds was a good one. You have a very vivid imagination, and I wish you the best of luck in the contest.

This work has reached the exceptional level

Funniest thing I've read in the last year so definitely gets a Six from me.

I had my doubts about that title at first but warmed to it as the story went on. Throwing a few FS personalities under the flaming oxy-torch helped and there will be many of us fuming that we didn't get a mention!

Good luck!

Steve

Thanks, Steve. Your first sentence really made my day. Eliciting emotions is what writing is all about. A ribbon or two are always a bonus! HA!

The story is really funny and super creative! With a touch of innuendo, matching pantsuits, and a surprise ending, you keep the reader's attention through the end. Bam!
Well done! Julie
