Thank you for your most encouraging review and generous stars. He definitely is an exceptional young man. In fact, the regular US Soccer team invited him to Dallas this week to speak about his experience. Very cool for him.

Hello Janet,
What a beautiful, moving and well-told story in a poem. I'm so happy it had a happy ending and more so now that I have read the notes and know that you're talking about your grandson.
This summer a lady in my church lost her healthy 28-year-old son to Covid. Her only son. And her husband passed away around four years ago.
I admire her courage. I think I'd be broken myself.
Sending hugs,
MJ

Janet, I'm so relieved for Tristan and his family, including, of course, yourself that this ended so well. These trainers are, often, exceptionally well skilled to deal with these events and it is a real blessing that Tristan received, what sounds like, the best possible care and treatment, in turn, reaffirming your faith in God. Though your notes are very helpful, your well-crafted rhyming verse, in its own right, excellently captures the crisis and resolution. Thank you for this very pleasing read! Take care Debbie

Wow. This was an incredible story. I'm glad everything worked out for the best. His poor mom must have been so scared. I know I would have been. Thank you for sharing this wonderful story. The power of prayer is an awesome thing. Gretchen

Hello Janet,
This is a marvelous poem about a true miracle showing the importance of top medical care, and also the necessity of quick action in the case of a stroke.
The poem has excellent rhymes and your usual spot on meter, and relates the miraculous story perfectly.
Galahad and Miracle Man, all in one splendid person.
Best wishes to you, Tristan and entire family!

Wow. I do not follow this event but your well-planned and composed rhyming poem, brought the events to me, clearly, sequentially, and emotionally. Well done! I'm so glad that mother's child is better now. I can empathize. Thank you for sharing and informing.
Best wishes,
Alex

Janet, this is an incredible/miraculous story in a poem...IMHO, true life is
and has been stranger than fiction...You can't make-up the story you just
relayed/related through your poetical skills...Through your copious notes, the great picture and your all too real poetic verbiage/outstanding end
rhymes, this poem needs a wider dissimulation outside the walls of FanStory...It is totally deserving of a six rating. teafor2

Some people believe that since not everyone survives incidents like this that therefore God may not be involved. Something that sets modern day events where many are saved, is that in olden days there was not the healthy medicine and practices that protect us, the modern treatment that is now widely available, the speed that ambulances and doctors can travel and respond. Still God's saving grace can also be a critical element. I am thrilled to learn of the young man's recovery from such a traumatic event.

Thank you nomi for your thoughtful and encouraging review. You are so right. People think today's technology and medicine removes God from the equation. Still, God's saving grace is key.

Hi Dolly,
Firstly, I am glad he is ok. Secondly, this was a miracle. It was great the teammates and others helped to get him to the hospital. This shows the power of prayer.
More and more things like this are happening to athletes, who should
be healthier and not prone to these.
Keep writing and stay healthy
Have a good rest of the weekend
