I was having a down in the dumps morning and then suddenly this story popped into my mind...strange how my spirits lifted as I wrote. Had to count my blessings one more time. Thank you for understanding where this story came from... deep inside my heart and mind.

Nicely done again! The imagery of the beach is wonderful. The intimate moments between Carol and Michael create such a touching scene. The dialogue are so heartfelt. I could feel a sense of longing and comfort reading it. The final line where she finds peace in knowing that God is there was perfect. This is wonderfully written and so enjoyable to read.
