"Abandoned aftermath" is a perfect description of what we are left with when we suffer the loss is a spouse...
So many years if "We" become "Me" and it is a shock to the system...
This is beautiful and I'm sure Nomi will find your words comforting!

Oh yes indeed, we can empathise, but we can't really feel the pain or how sick another person suffers, for those that suffer heart attacks, if we haven't suffered, along with the anxiety that comes with it. Beautifully sensitively, and honestly written, blessings Roy

I agree - it does seem so unjust - your husband died too young. Nomi's wife died suddenly overnight without any warning. It's such a shock. But we are blessed with friends to give us support. Thank you for lending your support with this lovely poem!
