I am owned by two cats, Minnie and Puma. I can relate to your words. I like the vivid descriptions of Claus, he was quite the cat. My female cat practices telepathy like you describe in your third verse and she is also my therapist like Claus was yours. Excellent tribute to your cat whose spirit still resides with you.

Great admiration for a cat, you're right, they do communicate. I witness a flock of birds eating bread crumbs. Above them was a watcher: whom sounded out an alert. Cat. Cat. Cat. I couldn't see it: then it appeared. Very interesting to me.

What a beautiful but heartbreaking post... Losing a fur-baby is like losing family...they become to much apart of us and our daily lives and it's painful when we must say goodbye. You did a wonderful job!

People who have never owned a cat, (actually, had a cat own them) don't know what they are missing. I'm sorry you have lost yours now. It's so sad losing a pet -- I've been through it a few times, but you can find comfort in cherished memories.
