My sisters and me played two old games. Racko and Yahoo. I won 3 out of 5. We laughed like lunatics. I usually try to use only words starting with the same letter. But, trying that the other day made it clumsy.
It flowed much better with the occasional alien word.
Thanks for the read. And I try to find pictures that effortlessly blend, but nothing exactly fit. So, I went to my standby, humor. Happy Holidays. Karen :-)

I've have to say you might very well be the alliteration queen, but I think I've said that before, and maybe even a few times more. But it's so very true. Thanks for sharing.

Karen,
This is a great poem. It sure does have a lot of H's in it. You have a knack for that though. This poem flows smoothly for beginning to end and the picture is wonderful. That's one big spider in that shower (LOL)
Well done my friend

Karen,
You did well. I can't even think of that many words with the same letter. I think I fried my brain when I was younger. LOL

You did a good job with alliteration in the story about Herbert Hanover and his family get-together. I smiled to myself at some of the choices for words that started with the sound of 'h.' I have one question. What does the word homelies mean? Did you mean to write homilies?
Anyway, this is fun entertaining stuff!

Glad I could help.
On this site, you, Karen, are the queen of comedy. No one does humor better.

Really? I think I am blushing. My Momma was the queen of funny. She saw it in everything.
I miss her. So, I guess I am carrying the torch. Karen
-
That's right! Carry the torch proudly since it reminds you of your mother!

This highlights my dark humor.
My husband #1 was a firefighter who was riding along with EMT's to get qualified. They pulled up at a house where a staionwagon had pinned the man to the wall. He had left the car running and apparently the garage door opener wasn't working, so he went to go push the button beside the garage door. He got pinned to the unopened garage door by his car, he was still holding his order from Burger King. He told me it was still warm. I asked who ate it? He ran to the sink and threw up. He quit riding with the ambulance. I can be very dark:-)
-
Oh no! That's pretty dark!

I can be dark sometimes. But I find the funny in most things.
