Very well done D&V. Free will is always a test for temptation, perhaps because some misinterpret the word free.

Free will is probably the hardest thing we deal with because that low hanging fruit looks so juicy and sweet and it's just hanging there waiting to be picked. We need to keep our eyes on God in order to make the best choices. Good luck in the Free Verse contest.

This is a nicely written, free verse and I very much enjoyed listening to it. It flows very well when it is read and loud. I personally enjoy free verse better than I do rhyming or metered verse basically because I find that it is much easier to make a point and make it flow well in the mind of the reader. Patricia.

This lesson is taught everywhere, every minute of every day. Just because you can do a thing does not mean that you should. When and if you give in to a crime that is easy for you to commit and you make the excuse, that it was too easy to resist doing, what will you say when punishment is applied? I can hear you saying it even now, "Oh man, I should not have done that. What was I thinking?"

This free verse has a theme about free will, or agency, also known as making choices. The 'low hanging fruit' seems a symbol or metaphor for easy but unfulfilling sources of entertainment or pleasure. Nice share and good entry for that writing prompt.
