Oh my goodness Barbara, I am so glad you were switched on here! Scammers are everywhere and we always need to be careful. You soon sent this guy off with a flea in his ear. Thank you for sharing this story with us as it is a warning to us all, love Dolly x

Thanks for letting everyone know, Barbara. It seems that no matter which way you turn and how careful you think you are, the scammers are finding another way around to get you. It's scary. I'm glad you didn't fall for it.

It's good to hear about stories like this, Barb. It is a good reminder to keep our guard up. I usually get four or five scammers per week. So far I haven't been sucked in.

I've had scammers before, but this one was a little different. He had way too much information. Thank you for the support.

No errors and it's a good warning. Thank you! I don't think anyone will want to publish my work, but I won't fall for such an unsolicited offer. I'm wary of any phone calls asking for personal information.

Scammers get into everything. Social media isn't always a wonderful thing. That scammer can get all that info just by going onto Amazon and randomly picking up an author. All your titles are there, as are personal details. These people are slimeballs! I'm glad Kevin was on the ball. :) Thanks for letting us know. :)) Sandra xx

Scammers get into everything. Social media isn't always a wonderful thing. That scammer can get all that info just by going onto Amazon and randomly picking up an author.
