What a fun story. Very enjoyable. And a nice contrast of the main character and her heroines. We never are as brave as we hope to be. I hope Mike was a little concerned when she fainted.

One tiny correction:

on it's way back up I believe that should be its.

Definitely a twist at the end. I enjoyed this story and the wonderful ending. Well done, just a couple of typos, nothing to take away from the rating. -Judy

My smiling faced (typo?)
That's where the melodramatic comes in since I wasn't really impressing anyone since I was the only one there.(do you want to use since twice in the same sentence?)

This is different. You held my interest and I am glad the woman's husband was the kidnapper, a neat idea. You drew me into the story and I felt for the main character. Best wishes for the contest.

Your story about being kidnapped certainly has a twist to it alright. A very sensual and romantic tale. The wedding anniversary present to top all presents I would say.

Hi Carol,

I would like that kind of a surprise!! At first I thought she had really been kidnapped but started to suspect the husband. A delightful read that keeps one guessing to the end. Well done and good luck in the contest...blessings....chey

You gave the kidnapper's identity away with her favorite song and familiar scent. This is very well written with very good imagery and descriptive scheme.

    Charlie,

I know but in one of my last stories several people complained that I didn't give obvious clues...Thanks for commenting. Smiles, CArol

I like this story too. Well written suspenseful until you find out. A good twist at the end.

the sun spread it's(its) warm,

and on it's(its) way back up,

comes in since I wasn't really impressing anyone since I was (I would get rid of one of these since. Maybe ...anyone. I was the only one there.)
