"A Letter to a Friend" is a warm and compasionate letter to a friend who is admired from afar. Beautifully written and said. Cranial Thinker must indeed be special to have captured your heart. I too wish to send a prayor to that you both reunite and that his demons go back where they came from.

Thank you so much for your kind words. Yes, is a sweet and gentle man and I think the world of him. I am sure he can use all the prays he can get right now to get through this very difficult time.
-
I wish him well.

Your letter expresses your regrets and well-wishes well. We may wish we could walk in another person's shoes, but that will never happen. All we can do is be supportive and helpful.

Yes, sadly all we can do is offer support and pray for the best.

Oh, Sasha, this is so sad for your friend. I took a quick pick at his portfolio before writing this review, and saw that he has not posted anything since May. I'm sure he will appreciate your letter, written from the heart with deep understanding. Thanks for sharing the idea that life is not always moonlight and roses.

This is the longest we have gone without communication. He is a sweet, gentle and precious man with a heart of gold.
-
You're lucky to have him as a friend. I bet he and you enrich each other.
-
I honestly feel I am the lucky one to have met him.

This is such a soulful and honest letter of true love for a friend and true caring for a fellow human being. I will definitely check out his portfolio. I have just one question, did you mean to say 'dignity and horror' or dignity and honor'? Horror works as I know that war is definitely a horror but usually the expression is 'dignity and honor'. I was just curious.

No, I mean honor. Thanks so much for catching that. Please do check out his work. He has a special style, not too good with spags but he writes from the heart.

An excellent letter to a friend who has captured your attention and sympathy. Since you say his poetry is superb except for some spags, why not edit his work and get it published? I don't think he is in a position to do it without help from others. If it is not easy to find to find a publisher you can get it published as a
self-publishing' work. Fanstory should be able to help and other poets at this site who feel like you may pitch in.

He is quite independent and doesn't seem to worry about putting the comma in the right place. He has had a few things published but his situation makes it difficult for him to follow up. His work is quite powerful and comes from the heart.

Thank you. I am just hoping he is in a place where he can read this. He is a special person and a dear friend.

Dear Sasha, I gave you a 6 only a few days ago but I would have again, but forget all that. I hope peace for your friend. I know what it is like to be misunderstood. Having seizures for 31 years of my 50 has not been easy. For your friend I want him to know there are people that do understand. They understand that being 'different' is not being bad. Thank you for being the caring person you are. You have a lot of love and understanding to give and this person can feel that. Shirley

What a lovely lettr you have written to your friend. Someone once told me that God doesn't give you more than what you can handle. Your friend must be very strong. I hope that he contacts you soon.

This is a lovely writing. In the back of my mind, I am thinking of Emotional Soldier. I have been missing him too. I wondered where he has gone and what is he doing. I don't know whether we are thinking about the same person, but I feel the same about the person I have mentioned. Worry crosses my mind. Let's hope and pray our worries are settled real soon.
