Amen and amen again. Great piece about what we all take for granted. A few punctuation little errors such as commas, but the message is still clear, kathleen

I dearly loved your article. If I had a six left, I would surely put one on this. A lady in my Sunday School class decided to try an experiment. She wrote down all our prayer requests and dated it, then as they prayer requests were answered she wrote that date. Every one was answered at some point. That'sa miracle. God's work is everywhere.

Aah, Bill, you are someone who sees the 'little foxes.' That was the title of my Valedictorian speech. I've always believed it's the little things in life that give us the greatest pleasure. This was a wonderful story.

Excellent. Great skill both in observation and in expression. That means you have eyes that see well, and a hand that writes well.

I believe, with you, that the landing on the Hudson River was a miracle.

There are many beautiful things in the world around us, if only we have eyes to see. And there are beautiful people too, if we have hearts to seek.

When you got to the last few paragraphs of this it reminded me o fth e story of George Washington who claimed to have gone into battle and had bullet holes in his jacket, but was never once wounded. You raise in interesting point about journalism and how to remain objective you can be shunned for using the term, miracle." From your perspective in the business, it gave us all something to think about. For me, it's easy.

Amen.

Wish I could leave it at that, Bill, but the editor won't let me. You know our history. Storms - "Acts of God" - ended both our Revolutionary War and its continuation, the War of 1812.

That's the big stuff. Five Canada Goose goslings survived all the preditors around and on our lake this summer to sprout tail feathers yesterday. Five fuzzy dinosaurs with black and white tail feathers. Five more miracles.

Great essay, Bill. Hope you continue to write for the church bulletin. You have the gift of Seeing. :) Nancy

Hi Nancy - thanks for reading and the kind feedback. I have continued writing for the church, actually two of them now. Of course, you're familiar with my writing ... some isn't "church day" material! Love the story of the goslings, fuzzy dinosaurs. Warm regards, Bill

Bill, I honor your faith. Perhaps it is just semantics, but what you call miracles, I call marvels. And they are no less wonderous to me. I have faith that there will always be marvels, but my faith is less well defined than yours.
That is probably my loss. You are a good man, Bill. More power to you. Peace, Lee

this is very well written, bill, a great job writing this story about the news article you wrote, i enjoyed reading it and the observations you made. it should be hopefully, not hopefull and take the comma out making this line "without re-preaching the whole sermon, i wish you the best of luck in the contest.
