"Buds burst regaled in flowering adornment" - how beautiful, and I love the "Buds burst" alliteration, as there is some more throughout your poem. And I like how you bring the animals and insects to life. Very vivid imagery. This is a smooth, easy to read, enjoyable write. Wonderful contest entry. Good luck...katz meow

"Buds burst regaled in flowering adornment" - how beautiful, and I love the "Buds burst" alliteration, as there is some more throughout your poem. Very nicely done! You have a lovely description and illustration of Spring. It's the season we look for new birth and awakening from "hibernation" all that winter has put to sleep. Your wonderful depiction has me even more anxious for Spring to get here! Love to hear the birds singing and the flowers making their way out. Good job!

This is a beautiful free verse poem. I love free verse it's the one format I can always get right! I could feel the beat at times of the world beginning to breathe again!
