I was just settling in to read some more of your well written piece when it came to an end. Your description of the way things are in your neck of the woods, rather on your island, brings out a feeling of people intruding in your space. Interlopers really resulting in tranquility when they are gone.
Writing some more?

I feel a bit sad saying goodbye to summer and the beach weather. It must be a bit of a relief to get your island paradise back after the tourists leave. You give a pretty good image of what it would be like to stay behind, one of the residents, home, after everyone else is gone. Like the hosts of the party, cleaning up the mess. Well done, G. I feel a bit sad saying goodbye to summer and the beach weather. It must be a bit of a relief to get your island paradise back after the tourists leave. You give a pretty good image of what it would be like to stay behind, one of the residents, home, after everyone else is gone. Like the hosts of the party, cleaning up the mess. Well done, G. The writer does a good job of setting the atmosphere. The writer draws the reader into this story as the writer does a good job of leading the reader where the reader needs to go. I see nothing that I would change in this story. Good job.

I really don't mind tourists, just as I get older I like things a bit slower. With tourists, things are never slow. They only have a week and they want everything right now. Glad you enjoyed this. Thank you for the understanding review.
