Well... what a tasty treat to set before your loyal Fanstorian. I know you prepared it just for me.
By the way, why aren't you using the Classic FS? I won't have anything to do with the new one. I've lost too many reviews, not only not getting the deserved chance for a member pump, but only 2 cents instead of the minimum 52 cents.
I was ready to chuck it all until I found we could opt for the classic FS.
Good luck with the contest.

Thanks, Jay. I happen to like the new & improved FanStory myself. It was long overdue for an upgrade. I am glad that Tom & his staff have afforded subscribers the option to use either, however. I realize my tastes are not the same as everyone elses.
Anyhow, you're right, I had you in mind as I was writing this story, LOL.
Thanks very much for your comments and reviewing it.

I think we could class this one as a murderous act of vengeance. Glad I've already had breakfast before reading this one. Well written and good twists with Mum cooking the dog then ending up in the pot herself. Good luck in the contest, I enjoyed it.

Thanks, Pearl, I'm very thankful for the feedback. I'll admit, this is a bit more gruesome than most of my horror tales. But, hey, at least Ritchie decided to have dinner with his family, that's always a plus. You know how kids are these days, LOL... :)

Loved your post! Sorry I read on Friday when all my sixes were gone. Sorry if I didn't read for spotting areas that need to be revisited, but it was your fault. Your story grabbed me and I just stayed along for the ride. Gruesome, but thought provoking. Regards, Bill

Thanks, Bill, and no sixes are ever necessary, my friend. I'm just very happy you enjoyed the story. Thanks for the great feed back, it's much appreciated. :)

Oh wow what an imagination you have! I did not see that coming. As a dog lover, you made me very sad and angry about poor Spaz. This is most definitely very twisted and an excellent entry for the contest. Very well done and good luck!

Thanks, Shona, and being a dog-lover myself, I hated to have to do that to poor Spaz. However, I often write about the things that would be most horrible to me, and hope it transfers over to those who take the time to read my work. Having your mom kill your dog and feed it to you, unbeknownst to you, would truly horrify me.
Anyhow, thanks so much again for reading this. I sincerely appreciate it. :}

An excellent write but not a very tasteful one. I almost brought my own meal. The last picture is upsetting especially when on the topic of food.
However, the story was well planned and developed

Thanks, emrpoems, and I'll admit, this one was written to make readers a bit squeamish. I guess in your case it worked, LOL.
I sincerely appreciate your comments and thoughtful review. ~:)

"Mom Makes the Best Supper" This is a good story you have created here. I thought it was strongly formulated with a smooth structure. I enjoyed the read. Well done.

To quote from A Boy And His Dog, "She had good taste."
I like dogs and won't eat them, but feel they are cleaner meat than a chicken. Your third world pictures accurately depict a feast in many places. Excellent.

I've eaten a few rats over in Korea while enlisted in the Marine Corps. It was prepared on pointy sicks, seasoned with herbs and spices. Not too bad, actually. Tasted a lot like squirrel...
Thanks very much for your comments. :)

Thanks very much for giving my story a look-see, Mary. For me, no changes necessary is something I rarely hear, so I'm very grateful to you for that as well, LOL. :}
Have a fantastic weekend!

Oh my. I want to say I enjoyed this...I did, but maybe those are not the best words to use. I could never imagine eating my dog or my mum. This was a brilliant write and deserved a six but alas, I am out at the moment. Very well written. Great attention to detail. Good luck in the competition with this. Genya

Thanks, Genya, but don't feel badly. Your wonderful comments are rewarding enough. I don't have any sixes left myself. I'm very glad you ??enjoyed?? the story, LOL...

I found the story more gross than interesting. I think getting some bile to issue forth from the reader was its intent. Half way through, I needed some Pepto Bismol. Still, it was interesting.

Pass the TUMS and the seltzer water, 'ey, Joe? There's an Armageddon party sandwich cookin', and Jack Tummleson's about to take a huge bit out of it, LOL. I'm not too sure if you found the story interesting and worth the effort to read it, or would have rather skipped it all together. I appreciate the fact that you felt it was at least worthy of five stars.
Thanks~
