2nd line - do you mean, 'craving human BLOOD', a I assume the subject is a vampire, though I may be wrong?

Anyway, it's a well-written horror story, and the doctor deserves his fate for over-charging for his services (if you're not a Brit and get them free). ;-)

Good luck and best wishes, Ray

Thanks, Rayman, but I did, in fact, mean teeth. In demonology, demons crave the teeth of human beings. It's bone, for one, and it renders their unlucky hosts unable to bite. See the film by Guillermo del Toro, Don't Be Afraid of the Dark.

I very much appreciate you taking time out to review this shortie.

    Cheers, mate! ;)

Sorry about that, and thanks for the heads up. Ray.

I could also use a few new human teeth, as I've lost most of my back ones, and I scratch my gums up every time I bite into human necks. ;-)

Well, not exactly the poor dentists fault, or the therapists. It's just that this whack-job either kills himself, or has to keep on killing to appease his demonic appetite. He choose the latter.
Thanks very much for the great feedback, and the sixth star, Country. I sure do appreciate it! ;)

Hello writer,

You're story is well written and tells a story that uses all of the five words you're supposed to use. It's much different than any of the other stories I've read.

I don't know if being different is a good thing or a bad one, MizKat. I certainly appreciate you taking a look at my story however. I suppose we'll know soon enough when the voting comes around, right?

    Much obliged... ;)

I think being different is good.

Great work. Hungry demons within yourself. Craving for blood on human teeth. Where is this anxiety stems from. Soap and water can't cure corruption. Life bites until the blood flows.

A creepy little story. I wouldn't like to be that dentist. I am assuming that this man is a vampire. Or is it just a bad case of gum disease ??

A schizo with homicidal tendencies is a better description, Ellie. He's feeding his own teeth to demons for chrissake, so whadda you think, lol?

    Thanks for the review.

A certainly chilling piece. You got inside the patients head well and you sent a shiver down my spine with that last line: life bites. An excellent competition entry, I couldn't find any faults. Good luck in the contest...Jacob

Wow! This put a big smile on my face. An evil smile I think. I think you did a wonderful job with the prompt. Your use of internal though works wonderfully. The twist at the ending is not surprising - since you developed this characters so well - but expected in a good way. Great job.
