Great poem describing love when you give it away, you wind up having more. If you fail to spread love to our children and others you will find yourselves distanced from love! Nice ending and concluding verse.

This is an interesting format. I didn't read the first edition so I can't compare the two. Great job on listing various elements involving love. My favorite line is:Love is- pain that makes us cry. I liked the last four lines but somehow they seemed a bit weak for what you had laid out. That aside, still and excellent job.

I believe the rhyming adds a dimension to the poem. It's such a realistic vision but it reads a bit like a sermon, especially the last two bold-font verses. I also did not care much about the picture you have selected. Overall though, I like it.

I never saw the first posting and so I cannot compare...
Poems with repeating first words in most every line can be redundant but not so here....

Love, I think, is always a topic ripe for the introspection and reflection it brings and you present your views on what it is quite eloquently.
Particularly enjoyed your final lines....so true!
