A very well-written fable and love story. It is all the little things about love and our lovers that we adore about each other that keep us happy. Others opinions have no influence and don't matter.

Wow! You did a marvelous job. In many instances, I preferred your stanzas over hers because it was easier to relate to in today's world. In the last stanza, I understand the confirmation of being "joined as one" is clearer to me than her "half a year" which I wasn't sure if she were poking fun at how long man's love could be. Thanks for the educational read on her biography.
