It is so sad that you are unable to drive anymore Geoff, fortunately my health and my wife's are still good, but I do relate to your sadness in losing a degree of your physical freedom, fortunately God gives hope when the knave of despair tries to steal all else, praying for you and Louise bro. Yeah Bro it was sad at the beginning but after seeing all the petrol prices going up and up and the road rage and stull I think God allowed it all. Lord Bless

Being blind in one eye, I don't drive either and sold my car many years ago. I don't miss it and with everything being so close, I really don't need one. However, with the problem I am having with my feet, I am not doing too much walking these past few weeks.

That's really a sign you're aging when you have to give up driving. I know of some people who have moved to retirement villages, and they provide transportation to doctors' appointments, shopping, special events, etc. Where I live, in Indiana, we don't have to have additional tests even past 67. We do have to have our drivers' licenses renewed more often. I hope you have been able to find some alternative arrangement if you no longer drive. We have bus service in the city where I live, but I wouldn't want to rely on it. Well stated. judi

Thanks Judi have to get back to reviewing your stuff again. Really sad about the car it is a good car but sadly Mitsubishi never held their value for whatever reason. I am approved for transport to Dr's appointments and I have been managing with the local bus service. We use the Wheelchair taxi for both of us for appointments and church and so on. Thanks for coming by.

You're welcome. I still drive, although not as much as I used to. You really feel if you've lost your independence when you can't drive, but I'm glad you've found accommodations. judi

Pray! We might have a buyer coming today. Yes it does. Had a man from the church help me out for Men's Brekky and he also helped me get the Inspection of the car for the "Pink Slip" as we call it for Road Worthy. (Not Pink anymore hehe)

Hey, but it was there for a whole 17 years -- wow! :) :) Be sure to take a number of photos inside and out....who knows when some part of it might serve as your muse further down the line? I mean, it was there for almost 2 decades!! :) :)

Thanks YM can't remember if we met before. I have heaps of photos I normally cut them up and re copy to make a collage on my posts. Thanks for the idea. Come back later on and look again if you like or I will let you know. Ishould probably add this to the ramblings book. Cheers.

Thanks Meeshu you are definitely NOT WRONG. Been seeing a lot of road rage and stuff since I quit driving..I am glad to not be a part of it any more. Thanks again.
