I love contest entries because they appear blind to reviewers. This was lovely and the comparison between the red colors of fall leaves on the ground to the red carpet was brilliant.

An excellent 5-7-5 poem... the picture is also stunning, and sets the stage for your poem which describes the allure and beauty of autumn... the changing of guards so to speak, when the red carpet is rolled out, and the array of royalty arrives in golden yellows and ruby reds... excellent!

It also contains a beautiful choice of words, what with describing it as a â??boisterous array" and a "red carpet affair". All in all, this is a very good and well-written poem.

Nice entry in the Nature 5-7-5 contest. I really liked how you matched the picture with the font colour and the idea of autumn and a red carpet.
