I am very happy to hear that it all worked out in the end and now your wife is cancer free, it must be excellent news to receive! A good story for the contest, but one suggestion is making adding paragraphs in your story, would make to a bit easier to read.

I'm so happy to read your wife is okay. I can relate to this as my daughter had leukemia when she was four. Now she's 24 and living life to the full.
Thanks so much for sharing your story. Good luck in the contest.

Written from the heart, this is very powerful. I am so happy your wife is cancer free, and you two can get on with enjoying life. I did a lot of questioning when my wife suffered a traumatic brain injury, as well as a lot of cursing and crying, so your story really hit home.

Wow! What an amazing story and contest entry, JLR. You told it well with deep feeling and emotion, coupled with the medical technology and info regarding the procedure. I will pray for her and you. Best wishes in this contest and in overcoming this personal battle. Jan

What a wonderful read although sad but I love a happy outcome, your writing and description of the turmoil, anxiety, and complete slowdown of your lives was extremely well written, along with the difference it has made right up till the now, very well done****kahpot

Congratulations to your wife for beating cancer. Your title is clever; I immediately knew, once cancer was mentioned, that it was breast. I enjoyed the pace and of your story and style of writing. It was frantic, then slowed; it made me feel in the story.
