It's a bit brutal, (the rules) not that I've ever entered a flash fiction Contest. I take it getting flattened relieved you from the ignominy of future failure. A lot of our footballers suffer later from frequent concussion in their playing days, they're more careful how they treat them long term, our footballers don't wear armour like grid iron players. Thank you, Roy. Your footballers are the heroes. I can't imagine the blows that some of them take without protection.
