I especially like:
"a thousand scientific explanations
will not warm my soul... "
Science has its place but not in the realm of faith.
Good job.
p.s. It would be good if you made your typeface a fair amount bigger. I've been told by a few folks that judges like big, very-readable type in the entries.

I think you can go another jump in size, maybe two.
I've never heard a complaint about too big type. But your photo is delicate so I wouldn't go more than two sizes bigger or it wont't match the photo. (I used to be a graphic designer. :)

I love the strong feeling of self belief of faith in your poem. You set the scene well with the road and the weather, then - just for you, and you KNOW it - 'a sublime and warm embrace' comes your way so specially. 'I believe what I feel' is the strongest belief to have.

Well written reflections on a morning's walk. Every time I take one, I tell myself, "I should do this more often!" I'm sure my dog agrees. I certainly agree on the value of the "scientific explanations". They get into the "too much information" area. Good luck in the contest.
