Shingles! Oh, you poor dear. I had them a few years ago. Ugh!
Your story is picking up speed and we are getting anxious to save Tania.
I hope they are successful, soon. She needs medical help. Good story Sandra.

Thank you, Ralf, they are the nastiest things I've ever had to deal with. So very painful. As you know. I'll be catching up with reviewing you, my dear friend, and everyone elses. Thank you for reading this part, and the lovely review. I really appreciated it all. Warmest hugs, Sandra xxx

Nonsense! It wasn't long enough lol! I enjoyed the chapter and a good cliffhanger. I didn't know that the U.K. did daylight savings time changing. I thought that was only something we did here to mess up our lives twice a year! They say we should get rid of it but I've heard that since I was a teen. I'm glad to hear you're feeling better. Back when I was a kid, I'd bring home the disease from school and pass it to my brother and sister of course. So when I brought home chicken pox my mother was with us for over six weeks of chicken pox. She actually got them herself even though she had them as a child. She was miserable, childhood diseases are harder when you're an adult. She was lucky though that it was the chicken pox and not shingles. I hope you continue to heal and have a lovely week. We got hit with a snowstorm during the night and probably have a good half foot or more of snow. A great day to cozy up and read and your's was the first I read.
Take care! Sally

Thank you so much again, for another shiny six stars, Sally!! I was told that if you've had chicken pox as a child, some of it stays and comes out as shingles when you're older. I've had it twice now, and I do NOT want it again!! There is a vaccination for it now, so I'm getting it once this lot is over.
As for the changing times, yes, we've been doing it since the war. It had something to do with the light for farmers and the blackouts. But, they might not have realised yet, but I think the war was over a few years ago!! Lol. Thank you, dear friend. You take care, too. :)) Sandra xxx

Okay! Perhaps they will be able to save Tania before he does anymore damage to her poor bruised, broken body. He thinks he is so smart! I hope he gets even more of what he did to her, I hate big brave men who beat up women. Well done, Sandra!
Get him! Nancy:)

Grant isn't a fan of women beaters, as you will soon find out!! Thank you so much, Nancy, for your lovely review. I'm so pleased you are still enjoying it. Warm hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

I love it Sandra, I simply love it. You're spinning a heck of a story and it's so well written. Now, they are on Colin's tail, but will it get them anywhere? At least, they probably now know where Tania is. Now to get to her. Wow. What a story.
Just a tiny thing. In your preview you have: How much more she can endure, = How much more could she endure.
A story well written and well thought out. A big hug. Ulla xxxx

There is hope they'll rescue Tania. I sure hope so, but I'm sure Colin won't make it easy. I love the story.

Before I left, I was asked if I would sign up with the special ops reserves. (You need a beginning quotation mark. This is dialogue and too formal, ...asked if I'd...) & I've not been called yet, and hope I never will be. (You can omit the 'be')

'I take it the tracker won't have fallen off?' (wouldn't??)

I'm so glad to hear that you're getting better. Things are really heating up now. I do hope they can get in, save her before it's too late. Your story is well-written, interesting from start to finish. The ending had me on the edge of my seat. I look forward to reading more.

They are all around my waist, and it's been so painful to do anything but stand up with loose clothes on. They are beginning to ease off a bit now.
Thank you, Ric, for another of your lovely reviews, and that pretty gold star. You always say the nicest things and put a smile on my face. Warm hugs, my dear friend. :)) Sandra xx

Hello Sandra,
You're right on the mark with this chapter. Excellent suspense as the chapter
moves to the cliff hanger ending.
The question Lorna came up with sounds very good, though I know nothing about environmental requirements in building. LOL
I'm not sure about the gun section that starts the chapter. I don't think he could just "forget to return it." What kind of security does this special group have, anyway?
"'We'll give him a five minute start." and "careful to keep about a quarter of a mile behind." don't seem consistent. Perhaps less time.
So, Colin left the door open? Hmmm.
Great ending that could go in many different directions.
Well done.
Best wishes to all.
Robert

Thank you so much, Robert, not only for the lovely six stars, but for all your thoughts. I have completely changed the beginning paragraphs, taken out the time lapse for following Colin, and locked the door at the end!! LOL. If you have a spare moment, would you mind taking look? I want it to sound authentic. Not to worry if you haven't, I'm sure someone will let me know if I haven't. What would I do without you and Pam? I don't want to find out. Thank you, big time, my friend. Warm hugs. Sandra xxx

Wow! This was exciting. It didn't seem long to me. I didn't want it to end. It looks like the plan has fallen into to place. If they hadn't put the tracker on the car, they would have never found where she was. I am anxious to read the next post.
