Sic those dogs ASAP! This episode is excruciating! A tour de force of evil. Brilliant work.

Amazed that such a sweet lady as you can conjure this monster--stunning depiction of sadistic psychopath. (I say same to Carol, aka "Begin Again," about her vicious characters--she just completed her book The Edge of Deception.)

I loved Carol's story, and read every chapter. Yes she did have some really vicious characters, didn't she. Thank you for the compliment! I read it to my husband and he said you don't know me very well!!! LOL, he's just gone off in the ambulance!!

Thank you for this lovely review, my dear friend, I am chuffed to bits that you thought it was well written. Sending you a big hug! Sandra xxxx

Rapier is an evil bloodthirsty person. I hope those German shepherds rip him to shreds or at least delay him reaching the house until Grant arrives. Grant is a good man, proving it by going to the trouble of taking care of the injured dog he saved. Well done, Sandra. Nancy:)

He is evil, Nancy, and loves being that way. But, he hasn't come up against Grant and his team yet. They know each other, but that's as far as it goes. thank you so much for this lovely review, my friend. I really appreciate you and your support. Warm hugs. :)) Sandra xxx

Hi Sandra, this is a great chapter and so full of suspense. That Rapier is quite the piece. What an evil person. I hope those dogs will shred him to pieces.
I loved the part where Grant rescued the dog. Please hurry up with the next part. A big hug. Ulla xxx

Grant is a softy when it comes to dogs, and he won't let anything happen to this one. Thank you so much for this lovely review, Ulla, and for all the shiny stars. The next part is almost ready. Not many left to do now and then comes the editing!! Warm hugs, my dear friend. :)) Sandra xx

You already know how much I enjoy reading this. Grant just gets better and better. He rescued the dog. AHH.

How does Rapier know Jose' didn't kill Tania? I must have missed something.

Thank you so much, Barbara, for this lovely review and all the stars. Rapier knew that Jose wouldn't be able to go through with it, but I will go and make a few changes to explain that. Thank you so much for mentioning that. Warm hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

Rapier is even more evil than i though. He is certainly a cold blooded killer. The fact that Garth would go to such trouble to save the trapped dog makes me like him even more. Now I hope he able to find Anna and the children. You are creating a lot of suspense. I'm anxious to read the next chapter.

Yes, Rapier get his kicks from being evil to people. But this is the first time he has really come up against Grant. He might be in for a big surprise. Thank you so much, Beth, for this lovely review, I really appreciated it. Warm hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

This was very good and very suspenseful. You did such a great job portraying the scenery and the moods and attitudes of everybody involved. Even though I've only come into it at this point it was still very captivating and I'm glad that I already know where Jose's family is LOL
The character descriptions at the end helped for those of us who are just coming into your story.

Oh wow... tieing them to the rafters... how diabolical can you get?!?!

It was so heart warming (especially for a dog lover) to have Grant rescue the poor hurt pup and to help him to a better life as well. I think the guy will be going home with one of them.

Great tension between the dogs and Rapier... I so wanted them to latch on to his body parts again. LOL

I hope Grant finds Anna and doesn't overlook them... What an awful thought to be almost rescued and then left behind again. Ugh!

Enjoyed as always. Great chapter with tension and touching moments. A nice mixture.

Smiles and hugs, Carol
