Aren't dogs simply awesome? Especially these German Shepherds! Great story with lots of suspense and action. Rapier is a bad one serving someone far more evil than himself, I think.

A small nit: while I [escort] that scumbag out.

Sending you my best today as always, dear Sandra.

Thank you so much, Sal! I think you could be right about Rapier being the lessor of the two evils. Yes, and I love German shepherds, they are so loyal and protective. Thank you for the golden sixth star, my friend, that is so kind of you! Warm hugs, love Sandra xx

Excellent
Not yet exceptional. When the exceptional rating is reached this is highlighted

What a relief to have this evil man out of commission and have some of how he became involved on tape. Of course, you left us in suspense wondering how he came to know where to find them. I looking forward to finding out that bit of information. The was a very intereing chapter.

I'm certainly glad they caught that monster. Too bad that Ben and Sam didn't take care of him. I'm so eager to hear what he has to say about Grant's mother, I can hardly wait!

Lol, I think I'd be had up by the society for prevention of cruelty to animals if I'd let them tear into that poisonous piece of meat!!! Lol. I have some blood-thirsty readers!! Lol. Thank you so much, dear sister for this really lovely review, and the sixth star, you've made me giggle again! Let's chat again next week? Sending you a huge hug and load of love. :)) Sandra xxxx

Hi Sandra. What a great continuation to the story. It's wonderfully written and with so much suspense. The chapter just flew by. What an evil mother.
Now, to be a bit pedantic. The correct Spanish in the context would be ' muy feliz'.
But if you want to use 'mucha
felicidad' or 'mucho placer' (a better choice') you would have to say 'it would give me'. I hope it makes sense.
I love the story. So we'll written. A hug, Ullaxxx

Aw, thank you so much for this wonderful review, Ulla, and the help with the Spanish. It's been nearly 8 years since I lived there so I think a bit of brushing up is in order. I don't want to lose it. Thank you for the golden star, dear friend, I really appreciate you help and all of it! Warm hugs, Sandra xxx (I'm going with muy feliz:)) xxx

First, congratulations on Book of the Month! Second... loved when the pups showed Rapier who the boss was! I loved the whole chapter, of course.

'What would you like me to do, senĂ³r Peter?'
My only reaction here is as I was reading it for the first time...it seemed to lack much emotion. Considering what Rapier had done to his family plus everything else I thought I would hear more anger... but then that's me! And you did explain it a lot more later on...so you may ignore me!

My guess is on Lorna ....

And my cheers and smiles are on my favorite author!! Bravo for another excellent chapter.

I've been absent from FanStory pretty much but I knew you would post and I had to be here to read it. Smiles and hugs and all my love.... Take care! Always your friend, Carol

It's lovely to see your name here, Carol, I have missed you, you are such a prolific writer. But I also knew you were struggling and hoped it was just you taking a mental and physical break.

Yes, I can see now what you mean about Jose, I'll take another look at that and try to pump him up a bit more. As for Lorna, I decided not to give the slighted whiff of a clue if anyone was right or wrong, LOL!!
Thank you so much for coming back to read this part, but please, don't stay away too long. Take the time to rest, and then come back, all pistons firing.
And thank you so much for the lovely sixth star. Sending you the biggest hug and much love. :)) Sandra xxx

Everyone is safe for now, but we still don't have the answer as to how Rapier knew about the island. I can't wait for that answer. I am curious what will happen next. You did a good job writing this post.

Grant ignored the gibe, and collecting his recorder, he sat down and asked Rapier to repeat all that Marilyn Harding had commissioned him to do. (you can omit 'down')

Although he was relieved he hadn't killed Tania, he also felt a deep sense of shame that he'd let his family down. ('that' is an extra word)
