Wow! I didn't want you to stop there. This story has a very interesting plot and I'm wondering how it will play out. I have a feeling Bessie isn't going to be around after this plays out but her grave may be. Still I'm only guessing but I think she will stay back in the past. I'll be anxious to read next week's post.

Ah, now that's one possibility, Beth, I'm finding every reader has their own idea about Bessie. She's a character who has developed more through the story, so who knows where she'll end up? I haven't a clue!! Lol. Thank you so much, my friend. Warm hugs, Sandra xxx

I know, that was pretty mean of me, wasn't it? Lol. I was laughing when I wrote the ending. Next week will give you more info about our Bessie. (well, a little more!!) Thank you so much for making me laugh, and for the golden sixth star. I'm still smiling broadly. Love and hugs, dear friend. :)) Sandra xxx

And here we go! I'm expecting to see her be Meg in the next chapter. What if she likes being Meg and decides to stay in that time? With nothing going on in her life in the present, it might be the best option. And there's Miles. Hmmmm.

Another great chapter, and I'm so curious to know what's on that headstone. From what Bessie says, it sounds like there was something shady about Meg's death. Margot will have to be the detective to get to the bottom of it. But how to do that after all those years? My belief is Margot is a relative of Meg, but will have to find out how they're connected. Bessie seems to know a lot more than she is saying. Great characters. judi

You will discover more about Bessie in the next part, Judi. She does seem to know a lot, doesn't she?

You really reach into the unknown with a carnal mind here, It ministers to the fleshly thoughts of man and a strong imagination. In a world of speculation, it sings songs deeply motivated. So Meg and Bessie are now coming to understand another life beyond. Amazing how the mind can work alone on this path. My blessings to you, Sandy.

Thank you for reading this part, Chuck, and for the golden sixth star. The story is about the rules in the 1800s, how a marriage is only permitted by the father if it suits him financially. Meg's father died just before Meg and Miles were due to marry, bankrupt, so the wedding was called off by Miles' father. Miles never married and refused to do so, thereby not giving his father another heir. Now Margot needs to find the truth about Meg's so called fatal accident over 100 years ago. Thanks, my friend. Warm hugs, Sandy. xx

Now I have the handle. I will look forward to reading more.
I have known many great authors in my day and I must say you rank among them. You have a way of capturing both the carnal and spiritual-minded. There are none here of this site can do so. Facts.

I start out with the same text each time I read. This is so, so good! You are, however, taking a bit too long with the reveals. My nerves are on edge. I still have NO idea what the, He- double- tooth- picks, is going down with Bessie, and I can only surmise what's going to happen with Margot (Meg). I think? I guess I'll have to wait! UGH! Great stuff my friend!

I only know one thing about Bessie, she drinks way too much coffee.

The mystery keeps unveiling. Bessie seems to know more than she is willing to tell or the ghost is controlling her who in turn, tries to fill Margo's mind with ideas. I would just wear these dresses if I were Margo.

Well done.

Awe, Sandra, this is such a beautifully written chapter and the ending of it was so written as well. I can't wait to see what is going to happen to Margot. She's a brave soul, indeed. She's made up her mind that she wants to help Meg and Miles and she sort of what she needs doing. Now she's in the hands of fate. A big hug. Ulla xxx

How dare you!!! Can you hear me screaming across the Atlantic Ocean? Now you've done it... leaving me hanging on the edge like another author I know. And of course, I'll dangle there until next week. That's just not kind of you....LOL

It was a wonderful chapter and I could feel the suspense building and of course, I suspected to be left at the altar so to speak. LOL

Wonderful job!!!

Smiles, hugs and lots of love, my dear friend. You are doing an excellent job with this one. I love it!

Always enjoying your work, ny sweet friend. Carol
