Sounds a lot like me... except instead of walking around campus, I stayed in the library or cafeteria and wrote papers and essays for the seniors. They always got A's. At the time, I just loved to write and so I did when they asked. Now I look back and think how foolish I was.....I should of at least got paid. (Just kidding). Like your typewriter, the papers were the beginning of my love for writing.

Thank you Carol. Maybe we were a bit nerdy. It is really hard to know just how other see you. One girl in our class who was a member of a wealthy family was always sort of my rival. She liked to write too. Years later at a class reunion, she make a speak in which she admitted to envying me. It was the last thing I would have imagined.
