Oh my, that was a surprise ending! Honestly I think if you really want to go to the strippers and you're married you should tell your wife or even bring her with. Better than this type of surprise. This was very different but still good.

Hello Pam. I'm not sure why you want to shock us. The moral of the poem seems to be muddled with alcohol and drinking bumkins who do awful things behind the backs of their wives. I know it is wrong but so are a lot of other more serious crimes. To each their own.
Having fun shouldn't be a crime.

Hi, Jesse. Obviously his wife is a jealous psycho. He didn?t deserve to die. But, he put himself in a position where lots of things can happen. Strip clubs and dance halls are known to have a lot of crime. In this case the source of the violence was his own wife. That was the shock at the end. She must?ve been an insanely jealous woman

Jealous wives do crime all the time.
In the name of love.

Yes. They do. Maybe she would do it anyway

Far too many times, married folks end up in this position. This is not a position I would find myself in, as I've stayed single since my divorce in 1993. She was not who she led me to believe she was.
Thank you for sharing.
God bless,
Steve

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. Thank the dear Lord we have gun laws here in Australia! Though a tempestuous wife can also do a pretty good job with a carving knife when she is confronted with a blind-drunk mouse of a man!
