I'm so very sorry for your loss. You have written a beautiful poem about this sad event in your life. But there is hope there too. Yes you will see her again in Heaven. I truly believe that. God cares for those who Love Him. Blessings.

Thank you for your beautiful words of encouragement. You are appreciated.

Thanks for sharing the artwork, notes, and poem, Nomi. Know that thoughts and prayers go with you at this difficult time. I am glad you shared this and hope it helps with your healing.
A very good first verse describes how you must have felt. I am l glad you have some family to lean on. I like your comparison of tears to "a healing rain." I will definitely pray for you, and you will get through it, even though it takes time. I like your verse about meeting again. A beautiful concluding verse, as well.
I will send you a message. There's no hurry to answer. Take care of yourself, and I am sorry for your loss.

Thank you so much Pam, and as my review of your poem stated. I very much enjoyed the read, and was comforted and encouraged.

You are very welcome, nomi, and I am glad you found it comforting. Let me know if you want a copy of the poem or you can copy it.

I'm so sorry because I've known this grief as well. I'm assuming this was recent. My husband of 61 years passed away 7 years ago and it is still fresh in my mind although the pain isn't so great I still miss him and expect to see him at the resurrection. Like you, I started writing a book about our life together. I found it very healing.

Offering Sincere condolences on the death of your dear wife - how brave to commit to paper how you feel at this sad and demanding time - it may bring some consolation in the future days.

What a wonderfully powerful image matched by a stirring verse which is so encouraging and inspiring to read. This isn't the end, Nomi, you know this and, in your heart and spirit, you will always be linked to Yvonne. It will involve a journey for you of courage as well as pain but 51 years of togetherness will never be in vain. I'm so delighted for you that you have this skill to express yourself in writing even in your toughest hour. Well done and keep sharing. Bless you, Debbie

Hello Nomi, yes, when God calls you Home, you will be reunited with your wife. Until then, there is still work to be done, and you are still needed. I know that you will follow the steps of our Lord and walk in his Grace.
Of special note:
I am convinced that one day we'll meet again
At the time reserved for the resurrection
(We must believe)
A heartfelt poem. May your days of healing be filled with loving memories. Well done. Sincerely, Margaret ~ LateBloomer

Sending you healing strength, Nolan.
You have penned a beautiful and moving tribute to your beloved wife.
I am always reminded of J.M. Barrie's quote at times like this: "God gave us memory that we may have roses in December."
May the roses of your love continue to bloom again and again...
Fondly,
diane

Dearest Diane, you are a saint in disguise. Your kind words render much comfort and I am most grateful for you and for them.

The beauty of poetry is we can record our memories and then relive them later when we read our work again. You have written an excellent poem about the passing of your beloved and the grieving process. "It will be a grand reunion of the spirit and the heart" are beautiful words.

I know this was the hardest thing you've ever written, Nomi but I hope that as the words and your tears flowed, some of your pain flowed with them. Everyone has been thinking of you and praying for you. We await your return as an important part of this community. blessings to you.
