This is a well written and heartfelt poem for Sandra. I found it a bit tricky to count the syllables as there was no punctuation. However, you did meet the criteria of the Rondelet format quite well. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you, RJ! I normally don't like this much repetition but I I'm thought those words were worth repeating. Hugs!

I didn't know Sandra was taking time off. I knew she had some health issues. I will have to take a look at the book that's being written for her. You did a great job with the Rondelet form. I've never tried it but I'm making notes about it so I can try it. Your presentation is lovely, and your words are encouraging. Just what Sandra will need. She will be missed, but with things in the works, we hope her absence will be short. P.S. I counted 5 syllables in line three. judi

Thank you for reviewing, Judi! That line is part of what should be an eight syllable line. I never have much luck with those prescribed Poetry/Prose options. I never see the option. So though it's a poem, it got wrapped around like prose. So I just went in there and added a bunch of blank lines and so now it looks like a poem. Thanks so much, Judi! Hugs!

Thank you so much, Kim! I don't like too much repetition in such a short poem but I thought it would work with a pleading kind of tone for this poem. Hugs!!

A lovely Rondelet poem for Sandra's book. I think she will be able to tell that she will be missed by all and that we will all be praying for her health to improve. thanks for sharing.

Yes, I know she knows but sometimes, it's good to state the obvious. It never gets old to be told you're loved.
Thanks so much, Marilyn!
