She was walking hand in hand with her grandson and she kept spotting a man and woman who were trailing her. Finally she stopped and asked them why they were following her. They pointed at her grandson and asked if she was going to be purchasing those hats. Hats? She looked down to see my nephew with three cowboy hats ostacked on his head. She yanked them off and tightened her grip on him with a resounding "No!". That must have been humiliating at best. Great story. Gretchen

Perhaps the readership sixteen years ago couldn't relate to my shopping predicament then... A number of "new" readers have mentioned that while they enjoyed my story, they only shop online... Online shopping wasn't really a "thing" back then...
Just so very appreciative that my story resonates with folks now...
