I don't know how words can hurt more than deeds. They might be equally damaging or the abusive deed might lead to crippling someone of even death. May be if you rearranged the first line and put a question mark after the last line it would make more sense.

I don't know how words can hurt more than deeds. They might be equally damaging or the abusive deed might lead to crippling someone of even death. May be if you rearranged the first line and put a question mark after the last line it would make more sense.

If our words hurt more than our deeds, as you poetically suggest then it would imply that our 'linguistics are moralistic', ie., that we should pay more attention to the 'how' we present our perspectives and world-views to others, in order to keep a peaceful and harmonious dialogue in our lives. Perfectly said. I love it.

I sometime forget how the words I say have such a strong meaning and they do hurt more than we think. We all tend to forget. We should go back to the old saying, "if we don't have anything nice to say we shouldn't say anything at all. Would be much more peaceful.

Cyber bullying is becoming endemic world wide resulting in youths committing suicide every day. Well put and very poignant. Yes eve ry where is 3 syllables. I checked too.
