a marvelous and fantastic story within a poem where the poem is sad because the prince dies in the end.
Your imagination is truly inventive and ingeniously created throughout And the imagery you have chosen to portray and capture the essence of this fantasyland Is remarkably descriptive and exquisitely expressive throughout.
Your rhyming helps with your rhythm but by itself is neither forced nor labored and your rhythm flows so smoothly throughout your poem and where your rhyming does help with this flow.

What an awesome write, kiwisteveh. The sadness that the prince must die to save his lover. There always seems a price to pay for something we love. I love the language used. Would it be Old English? No - not old English - very few people would be able to understand that - I just tried to give it a slightly archaic tone.

Not a good day for the prince! Beautiful artwork depicting the era.
