Notes as good as the tale. You never let up. This is everyone's nightmare: being awake during surgery. Even worse if you're freezing to death. :-)

Yeah, I'm being cremated, yet even that has its horrific implications. Oh death...why is thy sting?

There is a waiting time between death and cremation to make sure the soul has had time to leave the body. I think it's 48 hours.

Well, I'm going Bio-urn, where they mix your ashes with soil and the seed from your favorite tree. I'm not sure how the handle it just yet. Still getting information filtering in...

I wonder if Walt Disney is screaming his brains out at this very moment, ha, ha. Good story, despite the length. The only idea of being frozen alive and not being able to communicate your condition is really terrifying. Good stuff there, Dean.

I'd say Dr. Pascow's project could use a little more research, lol, but you've got to feel for the guy who has a long time to reflect on things.

OMG - A frozen nightmare. One can really get the shivers thinking about being in a state of perma-frost for years, or even centuries and be fully awake the whole time. I wonder if he will feel hungry?

My guess is that he would slowly freeze to death and die, Rose. Especially if the procedure was unsuccessful. Let's just say neither of us ever wants the opportunity to find out, heh-heh.

Yeah, kinda like those old Tales From the Crypt stories in the old EC comic books, way back in the day, Ulla. They were kind of corny, often funny, but always managed to scare the daylights outta me too.

Me too - cremation is the best choice - now don't tell me any gruesome possibilities about that, please. It at least will be warmer than being frozen under the earth with the worms.
