He handed the cup to his disciples saying "Take this, all of you, and drink from it: this is the cup of My blood, the blood of the new and everlasting covenant. It will be shed for you and for all so that sins may be forgiven. Do this in memory of Me". And that is what was said at The Last Supper.
The Chalice is the most valuable part of the history of Jesus Christ and His Promise. The poem reiterates His Promise. Amen to you.

Be still my soul. After reading this that hymn went through my mind all morning. I didn't know all the words, so I looked it up. "Fulfilling the promises that come;" I think will be my mantra for the rest of the day. I think God sent me this verse this morning. The picture is gorgeous. I think that will stay on my mind all day, too.
