The author's words are strong, clear and creative. Thanks for the definition of "Prodding". I found these words so meaningful and so
many times for me it comes in the darkest hours. I liked the statement

Your short poem gives insight into how spiritual faith can work. The last line, 'Prodding my belief' functions like the satori line of a haiku, the key to the poem.

Yes, it's interesting the way we turn back to faith when the hour is at its darkest. These are the times when we no longer feel self-sufficient and seek a being beyond ourselves for succour and support.
