This is a very cute flash. Most human couples having such a discussion might say, I just want you to be happy, but I'm not sure in their mind that they might be thinking a lot like Mabel.

I get duplicate a lot too. Fanstory even sends me duplicate messages and people get them from me. Something is mess up but I like it when I get the same review twice because both count.

Everything's is there: antagonist, protagonist, tension, them, plot line and takeaway message at the end: Be careful what you do, it might come back to bite (haunt you).
Colour, humour there as well.
And in 50 words! Well done story. Well above average.

Brought a smile to my face. Well written and to the point, but with enough room to add more if one wanted to expand it into a short story. Maybe some description or action mixed with the dialogue would further liven things upbeat doing that and keeping it to 50 words would be difficult.
