Give the Kids Their Rainbow Back

Will kids someday relate to a different rainbow first

The rainbow is the Lord's signature and it has been co-opted by certain social organizations whether it was for racial reasons or sexual identification, it doesn't change that the rainbow is a sign of God's love and mercy to humanity. Let's still see it that way and teach our kids that even if some choose to use it to stand for something else.

Gosh, am I happy to see you. Thank you, thank you, a million times thank you for your support. I believe if we don' t ever write about the stuff that is sliding by with our next generation to believe it is all normal, we are going to lose the children. Suddenly they will just see that all those laws and all that is happening is just life the way it is. So I was careful, but at the same time it truly bothers me, especially when I see Walmart and Target advertising it too.
Thanks again, sweet sister in Christ and for the six stars I am honored. '

Love and hugs to you!! Debi

It is a little better. I no longer sound like a hippo stuck in the mud when I get in and out of bed. LOL

Honest- I didn't know those sounds could come out of me. That's how painful it was. Still not good, but better.

It takes a while for bone to heal but you'll get better soon! If my 90 year old mom can recover from broken ribs, you can, too! God made our bones amazing! 💖🙏

Fabulous post, my dear friend! I want the rainbow back too! It's from God and belongs in the sky to remind of His promise to mankind never to destroy the earth again by flood.

Pride of any kind has nothing to do with a rainbow and is one of the seven deadly sins. Thank you for sharing, Debi, and beautifully so.
Sending you my best today as always and blessings in our Lord Jesus Christ.
Love,
Sal XOs

I agree with this poem. It's a shame that the beautiful rainbow has been solidified into a new meaning that will take away It's use by so many. It's a gift from God for all mankind, not just a certain group. Just another example that the division in our country is everywhere.

Oh Thank you, Sweetie, you have no idea how much your support means to me. I didn't want this to really be anything against anyone but more about how they changed the meaning of the rainbow for me and my grandkids even said that they heard in school that rainbows are not the same anymore so she won't draw one for me anymore. Sad, huh? Thanks again Hon.

I try to live my life by God
Instead of the one who's a fraud
The world no longer will abide
So now a rainbow stands for pride

And yes, it's true, I can't relate
But I have not one speck of hate
Yet, one by one the ethics slack
The kids deserve their rainbow back

I enjoyed the poem and the presentation very much

Nicole, thanks so very much for your lovely review for my rainbow poem. It is nice to know there are some who still want the kids to remember the promise of the rainbow.
