Wonderfully done nanni...Using the freedom of the high flying kite to show where our spirits can fly if we will only let loose of some of our burdens. Great job!

What a strong message in so few words. I relate this to letting go of our grown children. Sometimes we do need to lighten the load from our worn out shoulders. Great job!

So simple, uncomplicated and yet so difficult, I'm sure, to create that vision and feeling. It created a freeing feeling in me when I read it.

Amada, your naani is fabulous. I'm very impressed with your message so cleverly designed of few words. It is true that when we open our hands and let go, our burdens become lighter. Bravo!

This is a well written poem and I like the way the shape of the writing almost takes the shape of a rising kite. The imagery goes well with the photo you are using. Well done.

This is so good Amada. I wrote one recently about a kite as well and I can't for the life of me remember the name of the piece but this one spoke to me and I completely "get it"!! excellent

Yes, kiting is such an exhilarating feeling.
Comment from fayesh
You chose a interesting metaphor to express the release of one's cares into the wind and allow nature to take over. I think the only problem I had with the poem is that a kite does not weigh that much and there is that string that still controls it.

I'm not very knowledgeable about these naani poems, but yours sure reads well and is full of meaning in so few words. I really like the concept of a "karma kite".
Very nicely written. Good luck in your contest.
Warm regards,

Hullo Amada ...
You certainly have a colourful picture at the top of this short work and your words tell quite a story.
I enjoyed reading what you have written and, as it is a Contest entry, I wish you well.
With love from .... Nanette Mary.
