You write a very nice poem. The artwork too is very appealing. I agree depression is our enemy and can drag a person down into believing they are not worthy of any goodness to be had. It is my opinion that depression is not a two-edge sword. Yes you have a negative side, but there is also some good that could change it all and turn the person around for the positive. As you ask in your notes. Life or death? Which do we choose? You are stating too there is a positive and a negative answer, So therefore depression is not a two edged sword. My opinion. Therefore no answer to your question on this subject.

Thank you for your good review. God's Word is the double-edged sword. It has the power to separate life and death (spiritual). He breathed life into us and we need to live until He calls us. Sometimes people sink too low and they need His help: faith and hope to carry on. He gives us hope for the eternal things, so we have motivation to live while still on earth.

I liked the way this rolled along and the message as well gives depression at different spin to those who are riding within it. A positive spin because quite often depression is a mind issue. Word are a double edge sword that either edify or destroy. Good on you for this piece. The internal rhyming very effective.

Thank you Edward, those are worthy comments you made. I have been there too! It can be a dark thing which feeds on itself and gets worse. It can drive friends and family away. It needs to get the boot in a caring but firm way. CG
