this is very well written, mystery writer, you did an excellent job writing this story about the man who fakes suicides for his victims. my only suggestion would be so be consistent with whiskey since you change the spelling. good luck in the contest

Fixed the Whiskey. the first one I read right off the bottle and went by memory after that so was my own fault, lol. Thanks for the excellent review!

The narrative is certainly excellent but there is too much missing from the tale. What is the knife for? How did the note get written? Why is he being murdered? Why is it implied that the death should appear to be a suicide. I cannot assess this as excellent with so many questions hanging out there unanswered.

Lol, tough to fit all that in 500 words. Knife to sharpen pencil. He and Frank write note same time. Doesn't matter charlie doesn't know( just one more target) Suicide is just the way charlie kills. Kind of gets in his victims head so to speak and makes them believe everything of importance is gone from their life, but if I have to explain all that I must not be doing something right. thanks fo rthe review.

I found your flash fiction to be exceptional. However, I was a little confused with the ending. Did the words the assassin write end up killing the target in some form of supernatural way? Otherwise I found your piece to be very appropriate to the prompt.

Linmoon, I truly appreciate the exceptional rating, And yes the target is killed I guess you could say supernaturally. Thanks for taking the time to read and review.

Although this a good assassinate me thriller and I enjoyed reading it, the plot is confusing. After reading it several times I still am confused as to what was Charlies relationship to Frank. Was Charlie a hitman? Was Charlie and Frank the same person? When the author writes about the family, wife and children... whose wife and children? Was Jenna cheating? Whose wife was she? I know there is this supposedly suicidal note written by Charlie, but I can't tell where it fits if the above questions are not answered.

lol, don't worry you weren't the only one confused. I think "fingers crossed" that I've fixed that issue without giving up too much if you wanted to take another look. If not, I understand, and appreciate you taking the time to read and review.
