Wishful thinking never does accomplish much. In fact, it can hamper and cause stagnation. Action - right or wrong - is at least moving towards a direction. Growth is possible only when we are not afraid to take that first step. You did well with this format. And - it made sense!

Excellent five-liner! I haven't tried one of these yet myself, but it doesn't look easy at all. At least, not easy to make it into a coherent thought, like you have done. I should probably just follow your advice here - just do it! Thanks for posting and good luck!

Like me, you prefer a strong message over any real attempt to make this form poetic with rhyme or other devices.
One tiny grammar niggle... What do you consider to be the subject of 'produce' in the last line? In my view, it has to be 'action' rather than 'thoughts'. In that case, it should really be 'produces' which of course would throw your syllable count out. I'm almost willing to bet that I'm the only one to question this!
