Sure, life's storms can suddenly leave us feeling breathless, overwhelmed
and at a loss as what to do. Well described in your poem, as also our capacity to endure, face the storm with courage and faith, knowing it will pass in due course. Then we breathe a sigh of relief and, indeed, feel victorious for having overcome and that ultimately helps us grow and evolve. I believe we can all learn a great deal from the 'storms' in our lives. More in fact than from 'the good times', but thank goodness we have those too and particularly remember with gratitude when faced with the opposite. The weeping willow tree is very symbolic for the challenges of life - it endures many storms, but still stands tall, strongly rooted, its branches gracefully reaching to the earth. Great pic to complement poem.

Thank you for the nice and thorough review! I am so glad you liked it. One of the last two lines you wrote to me sound like the beginning of a great poem! Willow Tree...it weeps, yes, but it is strongly rooted! Love it.
