Hello JLR, This is an interesting Acrostic, taking more than one read and some thought, time to ponder and consideration as well. I love a poem that will make you think about it... I'm not very good at writing them, but I enjoy reading them! :)

Life is too short to get bogged down trying to be nice to people who don't give a damn about anyone or thing but themselves and theirs. I say be polite, acknowledge them, then move on quickly... life is too short : ))
A well written, thought provoking free verse acrostic. Enjoyable read!

Thought provoking. It's interesting that there is now so much value placed on what people do rather than who they are. We compare ourselves with ourselves and in so doing we often lose sight of how to be.

This is an excellent example of a difficult style. You should do well in the contest. I tried to write an acrostic, but I was told LASKKE,D;IIUD isn't a word.

It's a great entry. I would suggest you try to trim the first sentence so it doesn't overlap and ruin your a rustic.
Otherwise, it's great!
All the best,
Jan

This well-written acrostic poem speaks volumes! It made me think of
people who call others indecisive, wishy-washy--or even hypocritical--
for changing long-held opinions. For goodness sake, sometimes we
realize we've simply been WRONG about something! I like this poem.

This free acrostic seems to be about the pinnacle of understanding.
Life's happiness comes acting on your thoughts not just resting on your laurels. Forgiving is important.
Good luck and keep writing.

I read your poem twice to try and understand your words, I do try to navigate difficult people and never let them get too close because life can be difficult enough without complicating it further. I expect this is what you are saying here in your acrostic. Easy going people are much more pleasant to be with, love Dolly x

An interesting look at an approach to difficult people.
"Climbing up a slippery slope" is a neat oxymoron, since we generally think of such slopes as being something we fall down.
The last line is thought-provoking.
