Well Sandy. Another good chapter. Love the interview. It has gone well and really like the positive manner she brings things across.
Well done. For sure a sale and even more.

Dun dun dun. Could there be some copying going on here? I honestly did not see that coming and I'm eager to read more and see where this goes. Well done.

Wow, the tension in this chapter can be felt. You did a great job and the bombshell at the end guarantees the next chapter to be read. I didn't find any errors. Shirley

That would be mortifying, Realizing someone you just had words with, holds your fate in his hands. Fortunately, she recovered well, played her own little game, lol. It serves him right. If she's so good, why is she plagiarizing another's work? Hmm. It's very well-written, interesting, believable. Your characters really come to life. I look forward to reading more.

Okay so the other designer stole her plans and that's why she won't leave them. She's been burned before. I think I have it figured out. I can't wait to see if I'm correct or not. Love the story.

Thank you so much for the lovely six stars, Barbara, and this great review. I'm delighted you enjoyed reading this part. This has come as a bit shock for Tania. Warm hugs, my friend.:) Sandra xx

Dear Sandra

This is well written as a romance novel. My goddaughter is an architect and a feisty little person so I can relate to your heroine.
It's not fair to judge because I haven't read the previous chapter. But from what I glean Tania was splattered when a car drove through a puddle? If that's all that happened, her behaviour seems a bit of an overreaction. However I stand to be corrected.

Good ending to the chapter leaving the reader confused and eager to find out the truth.

Stay safe healthy and blessed.

Julia

Thank you so much, Julia, for this lovely review. Her reaction here is due to her behaviour in the first chapter. I can't say anymore than that as more details of the why's come out in the next few chapters. Thank you again, my friend. :)) Sandra

This Betrayal Chapter 2 has a well written and innovative taletelling backed by steadily flown plot development in balanced paragraphs (space is needed before and after each paragraph); both beginning and ending are good if not catchy; well said, well done; thanks for sharing this. ALCREATOR

As always, and as most good writers do, you leave me wanting. A writing trait that just sorta happens in real life upon rare occasion. And then, you give vivid detail without a single descriptive. ". . .he watched the expressions flit through her eyes. He wondered if she knew how revealing they were." Thanks for sharing another outstanding chapter.

Although her (One "her" is enough) eyes presented an outward calm as she stared,. . .

Thank you so much for this lovely review, Ric, and the shiny six stars. I'm so pleased you enjoyed this chapter. I'm totally grateful to you for pointing out the extra 'her' I think that slipped in when my back was turned!! Lol. Sending you a huge hug, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

-This is quite a chapter, Sandra, that
held my interest from beginning to end.
-I figured Grant was going to be the
one interviewing, but it interesting that
Lorna was included, too.
-You picked a good name because it
was my mother's name, as well!
-You describe the whole scene very well,
and I could picture each dynamic created
by the characters' looks, actions, and comments.
-Grant is obviously interested in more ways than one;
Lorna seems very amiable and supportive.
-I think it is good she is there, considering the
circumstances between Grant and Tania.
-Tania does a very good job answering the
questions and being professional.
-The ending creates a huge "Wow" factor.
-We knew from the first chapter that
she had had trouble with her previous
designs, more than likely because someone
had stolen them for their own.
-But she forges ahead and sticks to her
principles of not letting them out of her sight.
-She exudes confidence, and Lorna is impressed, too.
-Then everything falls apart at the end.
-From your character description, I have to
assume the "unscrupulous brother"
is responsible for stealing Tania's designs.
-An excellent chapter that really raises
the bar and creates suspense and a clash
that will certainly come between Grant and Tania.

What an amazing review, Pam, thank you so much. You have described the characters as I wanted them to come across, so I'm really pleased with that. You would laugh if you could see me waiting for the first review, (which was yours, thankfully) I get so nervous! Thank you so much for the six stars, and your wonderful review. Warm hugs, my dear friend. :)) Sandra xx

You are very welcome and deserving of the stars and review, Sandra. I like the idea of reading first, especially since the first chapter set things up well. I like having more natural reactions rather than working on it, and then getting to the review. I am glad I started you off on a good note. I think it will do really well.
