What a lovely walk down to 'Miller's Pond you took us on, Diane, I could see it all from your vivid descriptions. It will be wonderful to be able to go out for long walks in the countryside again, after all this time spent in lockdown. I can't believe it's been a year already. Your poem makes me eager to find our nature walk again, and relive the pleasure they give us. Your's has so much, the flowers, dragonflies, turtles, the robins, so many more wonderful creatures to help us enjoy the wonders Nature brings to us. Well done, I enjoyed my trip down to your pond. :)) Sandra xxx

Good Morning, Sandra,
I cannot recall if I shared with you that my son-in-law is from Chester, England. Spoke to his parents yesterday, and they are still in heavy lockdown mode compared to those of us here in Michigan. Thankfully, they have one of the most beautiful gardens I have ever been privileged to view; that has to bring them comfort.
So pleased you enjoyed my offering.

I think you did tell me, Diane. We English do love our gardens and spend quite a bit of time in them. I have rockeries with ponds complete with fish, and so much more around. At the moment I'm enjoying the birds, they are building their nest again in our hedges, they seem to use the same nest everytime. Yes, we are still in lockdown, but we can see one other person from another family. It's Mother's Day here, so my sons have been coming one at a time. It's been lovely.
