You have great artwork and you also have a good flow with your poem. You give a great message and you include all people and we do have to watch our children and prepare for their future which comes soon. A wonderful poem.

Hi deepwater, your poem has so much deep meaning.. well written.. I guess I would add is let children be children, stop trying to push sex and adult lifestyles on then while they are children.. let them be innocent and free.. hm.. I think you just gave me an idea for a poem.. Thanks, Love Lin

We leave this world as we found it. Hopefully, the children of the future will find a better way! We can only hope... kudos Gary! Cheers, Jack

Excellent work, Cowboy! This is beautiful. You are a rank and file, rough and tumble good old boy that has a heart of gold and a wise mind. My kinda guy. :)

Good poem, deepwater!
It seems like you might be a grandfather. I have just retired at 59, so I have turned a large page in my life...but no grandchildren yet. I've put three kids through college, but only our daughter is married...last September.
But I have to agree with you. "What's left but the children? Their hopes and dreams"
You've got one awkward sentence, "A road forward to navigate". I might have said "A winding road to navigate".
But then you determine that possibly we do still have hopes and dreams in our senior years, and it is to learn from our children. They hold our hopes and dreams.
Have you retired yet?
cheers
Kim

The art work is great, and yes we all should watch the children grow,to learn about love and life, and enjoy making friends, marry and have children of their own.

Belief is what one wants to believe in, or not believe in.

Great writing

Honey tree.

I like how this poem makes one think and flows smoothly. I like the idea of how one gets older, all that matters to them is our children, the future, yet still time after time we make the same mistakes. Great job.

Even at the age of 70 I provide child care for little ones and I am learning so much from them. I suspect that is the reason Jesus told the disciples to come to Him as little children.

The innocent children deserve a peaceful childhood, a life of joy and love, and generations of adults who adore them.
We need to give them a peaceful world, based on firm principles of Christianity, tolerance, obedience.
Very well done.
