I had a job where the rumor mill ran faster than anything else. People knew so many things they shouldn't even know. Even managers couldn't keep private things private. It was quite annoying.

The...wait never mind. I missed the muddy sheet part. Pretty good. I'm sure it will stop gossip and rumors forever.

I love your version of whisper down the lane, a game I had not thought of in some time - each time the story gets more elaborate and wild you add onto the details in such fun ways.
I was waiting to find out the entire cemetery had opened up and made way for a riot of zombies! LOL This is excellent flash fiction that interprets the opening sentence of the contest challenge with creativity. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this tale of how a white sheet caught in a dog's collar transforms into the wedding dress of a graverobber's dead bride :-) Brooke
